Together we have more than 25 years’ experience of raising the profile of fundraising and charity services, working with trade bodies and associations, suppliers, sector campaigns and community organisations.

Jenny Turner, Managing Director and Founder
Having specialised in PR and marcoms within the charity sector for more than 20 years, Jenny founded Turner PR in 2004, growing the agency to deliver a broad range of PR and communications specialist services for the not for profit sector. She plays an active role in the fundraising community, sitting on panels and committees that include the IoF Partners Forum, Insight SIG, and Charity Times Awards judging panel. Previously, Jenny was a director at Premier Relations PR working solely with clients in the marketing services arena, and before that with technology focused PR agency, Text100.
Jenny has a love of gardening and the natural world. She’s a keen photographer and a licensed Thames mudlarker, often exploring the shores and treasure hunting with her beloved sausage dog, Dot.
Lucinda Frostick, Associate Director
With a love for writing, Lucinda has worked in PR and content development for 20 years, initially in the financial services sector (servicing many of the largest investment houses in the city) and then moving into the charity sector. In-house, she led the communications programmes at The Giving Campaign and Institute of Fundraising, before joining Turner PR in 2010 and working across a broad range of sector clients, managing accounts, devising creative ways of engaging voluntary sector audiences, drafting research reports and more.
Lucinda is a keen singer, runner and mum to three boys. She blogs about her family’s journey towards life without single-use plastic at noecowarrior.com.
Melanie May, Content Editor & Reporter
As a former Haymarket editor, Melanie is a highly experienced journalist and copywriter. She has been an integral part of the Turner PR team since 2010, bringing invaluable insights from her former life as a journalist and editor at several B2B titles. With an exceptional eye for detail, Melanie works across our client base creating quality news and feature content for trade media and blogs, client newsletters and websites.
In her own time, she’s a keen runner, photographer and volunteer for the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust, where she helps to keep track of the local herds of sheep and Dexter cattle.
Amy Downes, Social Media
A trained journalist and self-confessed social media addict, Amy is our lead social media consultant. Having started out in marketing and PR within the CSR team for a major retailer, she joined Turner PR in 2017 turning her passion for social media into her profession. Amy believes that – when used in the right way – Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and other social platforms have the potential to do immense good in the world, connecting people to contacts and services they never knew existed. She’s put her knowledge into practice supporting a range of Turner PR clients, building engagement among their target audiences.
Out of the office, Amy spends most of her time with her young son Harry or pitchside as an avid fan of Ipswich Town FC.
